July 30 Flower Pictures from the Saddlebag Lake Hike
Some of these pictures have a high magnification and very low depth of
focus, meaning the background is totally out of focus. These were done
by putting what is called an extension tube between the lens and the
camera body.


Scottish Harebell or Bulebells of Scotland (Campanula rotundifolia)



Western Red Columbines (Aquilegia elegantula) but it might be just Red
Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis)



Wild Geranium (Geranium erianthum)

Monkshood (Aconitum delphiniifolium)
None of the digital camera's actually caught the really dark
purple/blue)

Sitka Burnet (Sanguisorba stipulata)


Dwarf Fireweed (Epilobium latfolium)
