July 30 Cordova - Saddlebag Lake and Glacier, Childs Glacier

Day two of the trip had on its agenda driving out of Cordova to the Childs Glacier with a hike along the way to the Saddlebag Glacier.

A map overview of this portion of Alaska:

Cordova is on the far left. We took highway 10 out to the east (more or less). Right before we arrived at the Copper River Delta, we stopped for our hike to the Saddlebag Glacier. The hike is shown in red. Then we continued along highway 10 to its end at The Million Dollar Bridge (small change compared to Sen. Stevens "Bridge to Nowhere" which was earmarked at $200,000,000). Where we went to a small park to view the Childs Glacier. This is shown in the upper right of the map.
