HMS Victory - Portsmouth

The HMS Victory was Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. She is still in commission today, although she has been in dry-dock since the 1920s. I was not able to take any pictures on board, supposedly because the British Navy does not allow pictures on board an active ship.

I queried one of the tour hosts on this, comparing against the USS Constitution, which is also still in commission, but did not get a satisfactory answer.

Anyway, here are the pictures I could get from on shore:

The White Ensign shows that this ship is still a commisioned Royal Navy vessel (thanks to Simon and my father-in-law Bill) for corrections on this)

The rudder does not appear to be very large in relation to the size of the ship
