Chartes

On Friday June 14, we took the train out to Chartes to view the cathedral. I am only putting in a small sampling of the pictures:

As is usual with these structures, it was quite dark inside:

But with a little over exposure, and a tripod:



There were also mazes on the inside and out:





Now to some of the stained glass:
 







I took this picture to show that there is indeed damage to the cathedral. The beams of light are where the glass is missing from the window
